Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to support new student recruiting initiatives of the School of Business Administration’s Graduate Business Programs (GBP), including eight degree programs and five of our graduate certificate programs.

Responsibilities Include:

Office Reception
Greet office visitors or answer prospective student phone inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team member according to their needs.
Schedule prospective student appointments with appropriate GBP team member and reserve advising rooms.
Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of our reception and advising rooms.

Recruiting Support
Answer and respond to prospective student inquiries in person or in email.
Serve as backup for recruiting specialists at recruiting events as needed.
Aid in prospective student follow up and communication, including preparing prospective student packets, and aiding in the visibility of informational event flyers.
Assist recruiting specialists with recruitment event planning support and execution.
Manage recruitment event preparation including gathering event materials and setting up event spaces to reflect the caliber of our School of Business.
Shipping materials as needed for recruitment events.
Assist with email communications and event registrations.
Arrange recruiting class visits and opportunities as needed.

Data Management
Input prospective student data from various recruitment initiatives.
Import recruitment prospect lists.
Perform audits of CRM system to maintain data accuracy.

Other Responsibilities
Other tasks and projects as assigned by the recruiting or admissions team.
Actively participate as a member of the Graduate Business Programs team for the purpose of achieving cross-functional objectives and metrics throughout the student cycle (admissions, student services & career management).

Minimum Qualifications from Classification

- Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR

- An Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR

- Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology AND one year of general clerical experience.

College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Minimum Qualifications for this Position

Strong customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail strongly desired.
Familiarity with CRM management preferred.
Critical thinking and time management skills are strongly desired.
Event management skills preferred.
High degree of professionalism and ability to represent Graduate Business Programs in a positive manner through all communications, teamwork, and dress code.
Must understand confidentiality requirements and be willing and able to observe them.
