Position Summary

This position will work with the Director of the Systems of Care Institute, Training/Consultation Team, and system partners to develop and implement a variety of training and consultation plans for projects focused on services and supports for children, youth and families. Position requires work with program staff, community partners, sponsor staff, and internal/external groups affiliated with grant project(s). Position will provide training, consultation and technical assistance at the practice, program and leadership level. Position will develop curriculum, trainings, tools and resources. This position requires advanced knowledge of adult learning theory. This position requires consistent exercise of discretion and judgement.

Primary Activity I - Instructional
Minimum Qualifications

-Masters degree in Social Work or related field with 5 years of related experience.
-Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to work collaboratively on a training team and with sponsors
-Ability to contribute to a diverse professional environment
-Experience in curriculum design
-Experience with child and family serving systems and/or community based agencies
-Effective at utilizing training technologies
-Experienced trainer

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience as a trainer/coach in Wraparound
-CANS rater certified
-Experience in organizational development and program design
-Experience with implementation of promising and/or evidence based practices in community settings.
-Expertise in developing curriculum for a wide and diverse audience

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement

The starting annual salary rate for this position will be $71,436 with an excellent benefits package including 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities.
