University Place Hotel is a 235 room Hotel and Conference Center. We are open to the public as well as PSU guests.

Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Reservationist to join our team and to provide excellent service to our guests. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized and detail-oriented to answer customer questions and make reservations. A great Reservationist is: comfortable on the phone, proficient with computers and able to quickly learn our operating system,familiar with the area, able to work varied shifts including possible evenings and weekends, and has that welcoming attitude on the phone and in person.This candidate must be able to work well with little supervision while completing time sensitive tasks.

Primary Activity A - Administrative
Minimum Qualifications from Classification

Completion of courses or training in Office Technology; OR
One year of general clerical experience which included typing, word processing, or other generation of documents; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.

Additional Minimum Qualifications for this Position

2 years experience at a Front Desk or Reservation counter for guest service industry.

Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Hotel experience in Reservations or Front Desk at a minimum of 3+ years.

Environmental Stewardship
Work Days/Hours 40 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday). Schedule will vary.
Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement

The starting salary rate for this position will be between $12.38 and $13.74 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience, with an excellent benefits package including 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities.

Pay Range Between $12.38 and $13.74 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
